On the basis of which legal title do we process personal data?

Personal data is processed on the following legal basis:

  • for the purpose of fulfilling a contract to which the data subject is a contracting party (a contract for the provision of legal services);
  • fulfillment of the legal obligation(s) applicable to the Advocate.

How long do we process your personal data? 

We process your personal data only for the time necessary to fulfill the purpose of their processing.

In the event that personal data is processed by the Advocate based on the consent of the data subject (client), these are disposed of following the written request of the client, no later than within 1 month of receiving such a request.

In general, your personal data are deleted within a maximum period of one month after the purpose or legal reason for processing them has ceased to exist, with the exception of the archiving obligation.

How and when can you withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data??

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the processing of personal data that we may process on the basis of another legal title.

How is your personal data secured?

The administrator has adopted the relevant organizational and technical security of personal data, corresponding to the technological maturity of the available means, which provide the maximum degree of protection of the personal data provided by you, both during their collection and the transfer of personal data to recipients.

What are your rights regarding the protection of your personal data?

In particular, you have the right to:

  • withdraw consent to data processing at any time;
  • to correct or supplement personal data whenever they change and to inform the competent authorities of SVJ about such a change;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • raise an objection or complaint against processing in certain cases;
  • request the transfer of personal data (including the right to obtain your processed personal data free of charge in a structured and machine-readable format;
  • have access to personal data;
  • be informed of a breach of personal data security;
  • erasure of personal data in certain cases (including the right “to be forgotten”)..

What are the remedies if your rights are violated?

In the event of a violation of your rights associated with the processing of your personal data, you have the right to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz).
